Happy Holidays!

Winter Fun Pictures
We hope this finds everyone in a cheery, seasonal mood and ready for the Holidays. We're all getting so excited for Christmas this year. This being the very first Christmas where both kids now know the magic of Santa Clause and what to expect. The holiday crafts are made. The Christmas goodies are in the works. Me and Kyndra start our all day, bake-a-thon starting Saturday night with healthier versions of the assorted candies this year. hehe. Mason, I'm sure, is just excited to scarf some down as well as Marc.

The Kids are doing great!! They are advancing at leaps and bounds, Kyndra now reading her own books at bedtime and even explaining to me the difference between a long vowel and short vowel sounds. Mason who can count to 10 perfect and to 20 semi perfect. He knows his whole alphabet and thanks to Kyndra, even knows some phonics. hehe. Homeschooling for Kyndra is still going great. Mason would rather just watch and participate in the fun activities. He's bored with me, I think. He'd rather learn what Kyndra is learning and I find that to be so adorable. He copies her in everything that she does, right down to putting on her panties and her shirts and even decided to give her makeup a try. It's pretty funny and thankfully, my husband isn't overly concerned with our sons sexual orientations.... yet! hahaha!

Marc is doing pretty good. He's still the extraordinary husband and father, that he's always been. His job is picking up slowly but, surely which is a wonderful thing. He is sort of kind, back on track with all of his medical concerns. He's doing pretty good. hehe.

With the good you get the bad. A lot of stressful events have been popping up, one after another. Without going too far into the details, 2 weeks after Christmas I am having surgery and though I've come to accept it, I'm still very nervous and scared about it. The day after hearing about needing surgery, I got lab results back that didn't show the best of news but, I'm dealing with that day by day, as well. What was a simple out-patient procedure, is still simple to the doctors but, it's become an in-patient surgery with an overnight stay. It is what it is and I just have to stay positive about it (as my sister keeps trying to prove to me, over and over). I know I'll be just fine. I've gone through much worse in my life so it really is not that big of a deal in comparison. It's just scary for me but, I have snapped out of the shock and am working on the things I need to work on to make it better. Keep me in your thoughts on January 14th, though, please? =)

We hope everyone has recieved their Christmas cards and soon, we'll be making our rounds with the Holiday goody boxes too.

Love to everyone and we wish everyone a wonderful holiday season!! ((HUGS))

Fall Fun!

The kids really enjoyed the enormous amount of leaves that fell this year. Marc raked them while the kids and I swept them up. Yep, I said swept. I used the old broom to sweep them up. It works better than a rake not to mention, it's just more fun. :)
