Merry Christmas!
We have been having a wonderful Christmas season this year and we hope you all have been having one too.
Have a safe and happy new year! We're heading out on the 30th to spend the first week of the year with my side of the family (my sister, nephews, mom and dad) in beautiful Virginia. Can't wait!! :)
A few pictures from our early morning Christmas at home.

The Spirit is Among Us.
We had originally planned to go cut down our own Christmas tree this year and start a little family tradition of this fun little trip out to the tree farm, a tractor ride out to the tree's and then the hunt for that perfect little tree to bring home to decorate, buuuuut... We have been SO incredibly busy with family plans, shopping, working and dealing with illness' that happen too often in the colder weather that this little tradition has had to be put aside until next year. We hope. hehe. So a trip to Lowes in between other plans we had on Sunday was in order, just so we could get the center of our Christmas time traditions, the tree and man did we luck out. I found my favorite evergreen, the ponderosa WITH stand for 25 dollars. WOOT! I heart great deals. :)

So in conclusion...
Kyndra has officially shed her very last baby/child milestone from her little life belt, December 7th. She has mastered the art of tying her shoes. A simple task for most, but in today's world of ultimate laziness of velcro and stretchy elastic laces which require no tying, a mighty task it was. =)
Always My Baby Girl
Kyndra had her official, not a baby anymore, birthday this weekend and MAN did she get spoiled. It's a lot less stress planning little events for the birthday girl instead of throwing a party for her. The money saved from not having a party, went to giving her the little treats she's wanted throughout the year, IE, SPOILED. hehe.
Marc got all dressed up then, Kyndra got all dressed up and they both headed out for dinner and a movie for their Daddy/Daughter date. They went out to the Ada Lowell movie theater where Kyndra's Uncle Matts sister, Sarah works. They watched the new Repunzle movie, Tangled. She told me this movie was SUPER DUPER AWESOME so this sounded to me like it was a successful little date. Hehe. Marc then took her to Chuck E Cheeses for dinner after that so she could enjoy the best thing on the Chuck E Cheese menu, the salad bar. She ended up winning a ton of tickets and bringing home a ton of Chuck E Cheeses style prizes. With a full tummy of yummy salad and a bag full of little game prizes, that concluded the Daddy, Daughter date.
The next day was spent out, buying her a new coat, gloves and those darn skechers she's been waiting SO long for the stores to carry in her size and style. Even though we originally went there to get her new boots, the shoes she's been drooling over for about 6 months now were sitting there on display, all sparkly and glittery and ON SALE! Half off and they had one last pair in her size. They were totally meant to be an extra special birthday surprise for her. :) Oh yeah, Granny and Pop-pop sent her 5 dollars for her birthday so she went into Meijer with her money and came out with a new barbie doll and a new Ariel polly pocket. hehe.
Yes, she was spoiled and yes, it will most likely take us a month to undue what we just did, but it was worth it. With her excellent progress at school. All of her shining stars she comes home with daily and her straight 2's(a's) on her report card, she deserved every little bit of it. :) Read Users' Comments (2)
