Good news and Updates.

Update to the gluten free and vegan style dieting I partook in, in order to get myself better.  Well, it didn't really do much except make the nausea less.  I'd still get the pain from eating and I'd still have the residual hell the next day, just the same as before.  It was worth a try, however. :)
Long story short, we've concluded it must be scar tissue on the area they operated on since nothing else seems to be showing up as wrong.  When I stand up, and feel around the area there is a HUGE lumpy bump inside there that is behind the muscle.  It hurts like hell when I press even the tiniest bit too hard so I'm pretty certain of this self diagnosis.  I do not have any cancers, ulcers, obstructions or anything else, life threatening so it is ALL good. :)
I have discovered that fats from beef and pork intensifies the pain and causes my stomach to swell.  What we take from that? Must be an allergy.  Which means ALL dairy is out and beef related products are out.  Eggs causes the same problem as the beef fat, which means ALL things containing eggs are out.  Strawberries, oranges, pinapples and lemon also exasperates the problem which is bad because those are all the items that contain vitamin C naturally.  A vitamin my body definitely needs a lot of in order to function right.  I get the pirate disease, scurvy otherwise. LOL! That cracks me up so much. I currently have it, actually.  ARRRR me aching joints, me mateys!! hehe.  Too funny... anyway.
BEST NEWS? I have recently started eating cheerios and other light forms of cereals during the day WITHOUT medicine and am handling it pretty well so far.  As long as I do not eat more than a couple bites at a time and allow it to digest for a good hour before eating again, I have very little intense pain and minor discomfort throughout the day from it.  I'll take it!!! :)  I do this all day long and have been able to keep up with the strength I need to get crap done, that needs to get done around here without having to take a million breaks in between to keep from passing out.  It's pretty great!

Marc is back in school starting his second semester of his first year in college to be a CPA!  I am so VERY proud of that man.  :) He has been working his butt off for his family and we all LOVE and appreciate all his great efforts!  He is also no longer a grunt for the company he works for, he's been promoted to Engineering Technician in the office of Hilco.  He loves it much better than his previous positions.  He says he feels more appreciated and better understood than he ever has been. Finally!  I am so happy for all of his good fortunes and many blessings!  He definitely deserves them all. :)

Kyndra has started her second semester of 1st grade.  She is doing very well so far and the teacher sends home positive progress reports after positive progress reports.  She is so smart and so darn eager to learn new things. I really hope she keeps up this determined attitude throughout her life, she will go so far is so.  She's becoming quite the little skater girl, too.  hehe. Just like her mommy was when she was little (only, we didn't have the cool roller blades when I was kid) :)

Mason also started his second semester of Mommy Preschool/Kindergarten.  He, too, is doing very well!  He has a bit of a sassy attitude and man is he a stubborn fool sometimes, but he always finishes his work and finishes them right so I guess I'll take the good with the bad.  I will, for sure, not be continuing this teaching adventure with him after this year. hahaha He needs a professional teacher to keep his little clever bottom in line! I hope!

As for the cats, Arty's been hospitalized AGAIN.  This time for a blocked urethra which almost took his life. :( Thankfully we had a lot of extra cash from Christmas time to cover that freaking outstanding vet bill.  We're broke, but we're happy he's still with us, that little high maintenance cat!!  We adopted a stray cat to prevent her from freezing into a popsicle during the winter time.  Marc is actually the one who decided this, even though he blames me for feeding her in the first place. lol. :)  NiN, Six and Helios are old and grumpy, but content.  Oh yeah, you counted right.  We have 5 cats now.  Amazed?  Yeah me too! Epecially since I was never really that big of a cat person to begin with and now I have a damn collection of them. hehe.   It's fun though.

We hopes you're all doing well and living well!  Much love to all our family and friends out there!!
